“Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) is a gentle rhythmic pumping movement to increase lymphatic flow.  It is a superficial skin technique that enhances the immune system, skin problems, general cleansing, and flushing of the bodies tissues.  It can be an effective means to help prevent colds and / or shorten the duration of an illness.  It also is beneficial with symptoms of Lyme’s disease!  MLD works the Autonomic Nervous system: both the sympathetic (fight or flight) and the parasympathetic (rest and digest)."

The lymph system is responsible for carrying excess water proteins, fats, and waste from the connective tissue back to the circulatory system.  During transportation it is cleansed and filtered through the lymph nodes”.

This is also a wonderful treatment to receive if you are feeling sluggish, doing a detox, or simply just want to assist the body in cleansing.  

Energy work (including Reiki & Chakra balancing) $75 / hour

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."

Chakras are the seven spinning energy-centers of the human body that control every dimension of your physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Chakra imbalances occur when they are either overactive, underactive, or improperly counterbalancing each other.  This is done without physical touch to the body.  

 SomatoEmotionalRelease® $75 / hour

SomatoEmotional Release® is an elegant way of working with the body-mind to help release emotional issues or memories within its tissues.  Gentle holding positions are administered and some verbal guidance.

CranioSacral Therapy $75 / hour

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance.  Using a soft touch which is generally no greater than 5 grams - about the weight of a nickel - practitioners release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and it's effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.

Burn & scar therapy $100 / hour

Shiatsu $100 / hour

Shiatsu is a form of therapy of Japanese origin based on the same principles as acupuncture, in which pressure is applied to certain points on the body using the hands.

Awake hypnosis is used to increase motivation or alter behavior.  A vehicle used to bypass the critical / analytical faculties of the conscious mind and communicate with the subconscious mind.
