I have been in practice for 20 years. I studied at The Swedish Institute, College of Health Science, in New York, earning an Associates Degree in Occupational Studies. This program is pre-med based massage therapy program with a high focus on Chinese Medicine. My massage therapy services have included, hospitals, high end spas, sports clubs, professional offices, and collaborating with medical professionals, in addition to managing an exclusive private practice. I also hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and I have worked for over 8 years focusing on advertising, marketing, and new business development.
I specialize in Medical (ie: injury, oncology, stroke, autoimmune & neuropathy complications, etc.) rehabilitation, (adaptive to physical needs), lymphatic drainage for detoxification, energy work (including Reiki, CranioSacral, chakra balancing), Swedish, burn / scar therapy, Shiatsu, stretching and exercise techniques, (including yoga and Pilates), the senior population, I am Hospice trained, and provide end of life comfort care to help release energy. I also provide Guided Meditation or Hypnosis to help you relax more into your session, or to help uncover "hidden issues / influences" that are hindering your healing process.
I am currently providing therapy at UNC NC Cancer Hospital (using my experience at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC).
I believe I have a unique way of meeting the client where they are with a loving presence that unravels into healing the mind, body, and spirit.
